„Forma słowa, forma obrazu”
- Organizator
Organizatorem konkursu jest Łódzkie Towarzystwo Fotograficzne (dalej: „Organizator”).
- Cel konkursu
Celem konkursu jest:
- integrowanie literatury i fotografii poprzez interpretację wybranych cytatów literackich,
- rozwijanie wrażliwości artystycznej, kreatywności i umiejętności fotograficznych uczestników,
- promocja sztuki fotograficznej oraz autorów nadesłanych prac.
- Uczestnicy
- Konkurs jest otwarty zarówno dla fotografów profesjonalnych, jak i amatorów.
- W przypadku osób niepełnoletnich wymagana będzie pisemna zgoda opiekuna prawnego.
- W konkursie nie mogą brać udziału członkowie Zarządu ŁTF.
- Tematyka i cytaty
Uczestnicy wykonują zdjęcia inspirowane poniższymi cytatami:
- Verba avolant, imago manet – „Słowa ulatują, obraz pozostaje”
- Carpe diem – „Chwytaj dzień – korzystaj z każdego dnia”
- Fragment wiersza Krystyny Wieczorek „Jesienny list”:
„Zagraj mi na deszczu strunach. Krzykiem ptaków pod chmurami.
Zapach kwiatów jesiennych. Jesiennych płatków aksamit”
(Wspomnienia 2006).
- Zasady zgłaszania prac
- Każdy uczestnik może zgłosić od 1 do 3 zdjęć.
- Można zgłosić trzy zdjęcia do jednego wybranego cytatu lub po jednym zdjęciu do każdego cytatu.
- Prace muszą być oryginalne – autor musi posiadać pełne prawa autorskie do zgłoszonej fotografii.
- Wymogi techniczne
- Format pliku: JPEG
- Rozdzielczość: 300 DPI, przygotowane do wydruku w formacie 20 × 20,25,30 cm.
- Proporcje obrazu: 1:1, 3:2 lub 3:4.
- Opis pliku: Nazwisko_Imię_Tytuł_Numer_Cytatu (np. Kowalski_Anna_Tytuł_2).
- Zabronione jest używanie sztucznej inteligencji (AI) do generowania lub przekształcania prac – wszystkie elementy zdjęcia muszą być autorstwa uczestnika.
- Opłata konkursowa za zgłoszenie:
- 1 zdjęcie – 40 zł
- 2 zdjęcia – 50 zł
- 3 zdjęcia – 60 zł

Zdjęcia uczestników, którzy nie uiścili opłaty konkursowej, nie będą brane pod uwagę.
- Nagrody
- Nagroda specjalna za najlepszą fotografię do cytatu Krystyny Wieczorek – Złoty Kadr ŁTF, medal ŁTF i 1000 zł.
- I miejsce – Złoty Kadr ŁTF, medal ŁTF i 500 zł.
- II miejsce – Srebrny Kadr ŁTF, medal ŁTF i 400 zł.
- III miejsce – Brązowy Kadr ŁTF, medal ŁTF i 300 zł.
- Wyróżnienia (3) – Dyplomy „Dobre Kadry ŁTF”.
- Łączna pula nagród: 2000 zł. Organizator zastrzega sobie prawo do zwiększenia puli oraz do zmiany podziału nagród w zależności od poziomu artystycznego prac.
- Termin i przebieg konkursu
- Termin nadsyłania zgłoszeń: do 23:59, 24 października 2025 r..
- Obrady Jury: 27–30 października 2025 r.
- Ogłoszenie wyników: 31 października 2025 r.
- Wystawa pokonkursowa i wręczenie nagród: listopad 2025 r. – dokładny termin zostanie podany osobno.
- Ocena prac i jury
- Prace będą oceniane przez jury powołane przez Organizatora.
- Ocena opierać się będzie na co najmniej następujących kryteriach:
a) zgodność z tematem / cytatem,
b) oryginalność i pomysłowość interpretacji,
c) jakość wykonania (technika, kompozycja, światło),
d) estetyka całości. - Decyzje jury są ostateczne i nie przysługuje od nich odwołanie.
- Prawa autorskie i wykorzystanie prac
- Autor zgłoszenia oświadcza, że posiada pełne prawa autorskie do fotografii oraz prawa do wizerunku osób, jeśli takie się na zdjęciu znajdują.
- Uczestnik zgłasza się przekazując prace, co oznacza, że wyraża zgodę na bezpłatne wykorzystanie zdjęć (lub fragmentów) przez Organizatora do promocji konkursu, publikacji internetowych, materiałów drukowanych, wystaw oraz mediów społecznościowych.
- Organizator może żądać dostarczenia plików źródłowych prac nagrodzonych.
- Ochrona danych osobowych
- Administratorem danych osobowych uczestników jest Organizator.
- Dane będą przetwarzane wyłącznie w celu przeprowadzenia konkursu, wyłonienia laureatów, wręczenia nagród oraz promocji wyników.
- Udział w konkursie wymaga zgody na przetwarzanie danych osobowych zgodnie z obowiązującymi przepisami (RODO).
- Uczestnik ma prawo dostępu do swoich danych, ich poprawiania, żądania usunięcia.
- Postanowienia końcowe
- Udział w konkursie jest dobrowolny.
- Regulamin dostępny jest na stronie Łódzkiego Towarzystwa Fotograficznego oraz w siedzibie Organizatora.
- Organizator zastrzega sobie prawo do wprowadzenia zmian w regulaminie – w razie konieczności – z uprzednim ogłoszeniem.
- W sprawach nieuregulowanych regulaminem decyzje podejmuje Organizator.
- Zgłoszenie pracy do konkursu oznacza akceptację niniejszego regulaminu.
11. Prawa autorskie i wykorzystanie prac
(pozostaje bez zmian, ale uzupełniamy o punkt o plagiat)
- Zabrania się zgłaszania prac:
- które są plagiatem,
- które stanowią naruszenie praw autorskich osób trzecich,
- które powstały w sposób sprzeczny z zasadami niniejszego regulaminu.
W przypadku stwierdzenia naruszenia, praca zostaje zdyskwalifikowana, a ewentualna nagroda cofnięta.
INVITATION
FORM OF THE WORD, FORM OF THE IMAGE
The Łódź Photographic Society invites you to participate in a new and unique photography competition “Form of the Word, Form of the Image.”
The competition combines two fields of art: literature and photography. Participants will have the opportunity to face the challenge of interpreting selected literary quotations, translating them into the language of photographic image.
The task is to create a photograph inspired by one of the three presented quotations.
Only one photograph may be submitted per quotation.
Each participant may choose from 1 to 3 quotations.
This is a unique opportunity to show how a word can transform into an image, and how an image can become a new form of literary interpretation.
Awarded works will be exhibited in the Galeria Witryna and presented online and in the social media channels of the Łódź Photographic Society, reaching a wide audience of art lovers.
We warmly invite both professional and amateur photographers – what matters most is sensitivity, creativity, and the ability to capture the essence of a word in the form of an image.
RULES OF THE PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
“Form of the Word, Form of the Image”
1. Organizer
The competition is organized by the Łódź Photographic Society (hereinafter: “Organizer”).
2. Aim of the competition
The aims of the competition are:
- integrating literature and photography through the interpretation of selected literary quotations,
- developing artistic sensitivity, creativity, and photographic skills of the participants,
- promoting the art of photography and the authors of the submitted works.
3. Participants
The competition is open to both professional and amateur photographers.
In the case of minors, a written consent of a legal guardian is required.
Members of the Board of the Łódź Photographic Society are not allowed to participate.
4. Theme and quotations
Participants create photographs inspired by the following quotations:
- Verba avolant, imago manet – “Words fly away, the image remains”
- Carpe diem – “Seize the day – make the most of every day”
- Excerpt from the poem Jesienny list (Autumn Letter) by Krystyna Wieczorek (Wspomnienia 2006):
“Play for me on the strings of rain. With the cry of birds beneath the clouds.
The scent of autumn flowers. Autumn petals of velvet.”
5. Submission rules
- Each participant may submit 1 to 3 photographs.
- It is possible to submit three photographs inspired by one chosen quotation, or one photograph per quotation.
- The works must be original – the author must hold full copyright to the submitted photographs.
6. Technical requirements
- File format: JPEG
- Resolution: 300 DPI, prepared for print in 20 × 20, 25, 30 cm format.
- Aspect ratio: 1:1, 3:2 or 3:4.
- File name format: Surname_FirstName_Title_QuotationNumber (e.g., Kowalski_Anna_Title_2).
- The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate or modify works is prohibited – all elements of the photograph must be created by the participant.
7. Entry fee
- 1 photo – 40 PLN
- 2 photos – 50 PLN
- 3 photos – 60 PLN

Submissions without proof of payment will not be considered.
8. Awards
- Special award for the best photograph inspired by Krystyna Wieczorek’s quotation – ŁTF Golden Frame, ŁTF Medal and 1000 PLN.
- 1st Prize – ŁTF Golden Frame, ŁTF Medal and 500 PLN.
- 2nd Prize – ŁTF Silver Frame, ŁTF Medal and 400 PLN.
- 3rd Prize – ŁTF Bronze Frame, ŁTF Medal and 300 PLN.
- Honorable Mentions (3) – ŁTF Good Frames Diplomas.
Total prize pool: 2000 PLN. The Organizer reserves the right to increase the prize pool and adjust the distribution of prizes depending on the artistic level of the works.
9. Timeline
- Submission deadline: October 24, 2025, 23:59.
- Jury deliberations: October 27–30, 2025.
- Announcement of results: October 31, 2025.
- Post-competition exhibition and award ceremony: November 2025 – exact date to be announced.
10. Evaluation and jury
The works will be evaluated by a jury appointed by the Organizer.
The evaluation will be based on at least the following criteria:
a) relevance to the theme / quotation,
b) originality and creativity of interpretation,
c) technical quality (technique, composition, lighting),
d) overall aesthetics.
The jury’s decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
11. Copyright and use of works
The author declares that they hold full copyright to the submitted photographs and the rights to the image of any persons depicted.
By submitting works, the participant agrees to the free use of the photographs (or fragments thereof) by the Organizer for the purposes of competition promotion, online publications, printed materials, exhibitions, and social media.
The Organizer may request source files of awarded works.
Plagiarism clause:
It is forbidden to submit works that:
- are plagiarized,
- infringe the copyright of third parties,
- were created in violation of these rules.
In case of violation, the work will be disqualified, and any awarded prize will be revoked.
12. Personal data protection
The Organizer is the administrator of the participants’ personal data.
Data will be processed solely for the purpose of conducting the competition, selecting winners, awarding prizes, and promoting results.
Participation requires consent to personal data processing in accordance with applicable regulations (GDPR).
Participants have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of their data.
13. Final provisions
Participation in the competition is voluntary.
The rules are available on the website of the Łódź Photographic Society and at the Organizer’s office.
The Organizer reserves the right to amend the rules, if necessary, with prior notice.
In matters not regulated by these rules, decisions will be made by the Organizer.
Submitting a work to the competition constitutes acceptance of these rules.
